How to visit.

From the torii to the main hall, in the order you walk the grounds. The stair is steep, so use the handrail.

  1. The torii

    It begins at the vermilion torii at the foot of the stair, with a lantern carrying the shrine's name.

  2. The stone stair

    A steep flight of stone steps. Handrails on both sides, a komainu guardian beside it.

  3. The gate

    At the top, the vermilion gate. Its lanterns carry the shrine's name too.

  4. The main hall

    The wooden hall where you pray.

  5. The small shrines

    A row of small subsidiary shrines in the grounds.

The shape of a day.

Google Maps lists the grounds as open 24 hours. There is no closing day. The office and ceremony reception hours are not written on the official site, so they are being confirmed.
